It seems that Oscar jewels give the A-list that extra inch of glam on the red carpet...if that's possible!  Whether it's a pea sized diamond, an over-the-top statement neck piece or an exquisite pair of priceless earrings, the celebs certainly have it covered when it comes to Oscar season.  Borrowing jewels from a prestige designer seems to be the in thing.  Anne Hathaway, Claire Danes, Angelina Jolie and Leighton Meester are just a few of the big names who annually make the trip to 'Harry's'.  The 77-year-old company 'Harry Winston' is known for draping the A-list in gems we can only dream of wearing.  Not only are they priceless works of art, they also cost double the amount of the average American home.

The magically transporting exhibition of millinery hats, cleverly orchestrated by Stephen Jones abandoned the usual rules of social engagement.  The event was none other than a perfect excuse to 'decorate your head'.  Hosted at the Victoria and Albert Museum, the milliner complete with sparkly beret, described eighteen months in the museums archives.  Everyone from punks, club goers, designers and artists certainly pushed the boat out in the headgear stakes.

Who would believe Louis Vuitton used to be a traditional luggage brand after Marc Jacobs waved his monogrammed wand on the luxury label,  Of course he had a little help from Takashi Murakami.  The top Japanese artist and the man himself have rejuvenated the world sought after name. We know you are all going to be just a little excited about an exhibition to celebrate their combined efforts.  The show is to take place at Bilbao's Guggenheim from February 17 until May 31.  Collaborations dating back to 2003 will be on display including the first monogram collection in 33 colors, the iconic cherry-print and of course the 'monogramoflage'

This season's creations are to die for and the credit crunch has certainly been forgotten in the world of Louis Vuitton.  With expensive and luxurious fabrics and a glorious take on the current tribal theme, every item is an investment!  The weather has turned and with it so has Marc Jacobs' choice of color palette, rich reds, exquisite purples, vivid oranges and contrasting greens are sure to add a divine twist to any outfit!

This year's Oscars brought an array of to-die-for gowns, the red carpet was a sea of couture.  Penelope Cruz oozed glamor in a pretty princess-like vintage Balmain piece whilst Natalie Portman looked every inch a star in a stunning Rodarte frock, complete with Swarovski beading.  From Prada to Versace, this year's Oscar's was every fashionista's fantasy.  I think one of the favorites had to be Sarah jessica Parker's ensemble, the Sex And The City star was a picture of perfection in Dior Couture confection.

This season's fresh talent introduces Elke Kramer, the Sydney – based Jeweler has debuted a collection of accessories to be released this spring.  The new collaboration is entitled 'Trompe L'oeil' and each piece takes the form of a handmade resin creation.  The designer has taken inspiration from Southwestern earth tones and lady slipper orchids.  In vivid colors and unusual shapes, these pieces are sure to add a little something extra to any outfit!

Rumors are fast circulating that the star of hit show, the O.C is set to marry!  According to sources, boyfriend Hayden Christensen popped the question over Christmas making the holidays an extra special occasion.  No date has been set as of yet but the pair are said to be completely in love and so excited about a wedding, so we're sure it won't belong before they walk down the aisle!  The duo met on the set of movie 'Jumper' in 2006.  Rachel seems ecstatic about the proposal but has refused to comment on the rumors just yet! 

We hope she doesn't keep us in suspense for too long, we can't wait for the actress to reveal her plans for a fairytale wedding.  

Miss Johansson has landed the role in a hot new commercial for Dolce & Gabbana.  The big name has produced a cosmetic collection which includes eye shadows, foundations and lipsticks.  Good news the new collaborations will be available as soon as April at Saks on 5th Av.  The campaign was shot in London with a complete 1950's vibe, focusing on the classic red lips, smoking eyes and flawless skin.  We're sure Scarlett looked like a modern day Marilyn Monroe.
