Top designers Viktor and Rolf are certainly making a fashion statement by saying say no!

Designers Viktor and Rolf have certainly made a fashion statement, literally by saying no!  Their exciting new line for A/W 09 screamed out to the crowds that gathered to see the collection.  Models strutted down the catwalk in ensembles emblazoned with the words 'no', 'wow' 'dream' and 'Dream on'.  These words didn't just stop at the garments, faces were also embellished with type.  One piece that really caused a stir was the statement fur coat, with wow splashed across it's front we can't imagine it was a favourite with any animal lovers however!

With fashion moving so fast, this is definitely one way to get noticed and of course a way to make communication more efficient.  Say what you mean with a slogan statement tee, click on a link to get started.

Everyone's just dying to get their hands on hot new designer's namesake line.

Designer Saloni Lodha's current creations are crowding the closets of every fashionista in town.  With a current collection featuring embroidered hippy tops, laser cut ribbon gowns and handmade yet versatile shifts who blames every girl for lusting after this line!  Lodha gained her creative flourish whilst studying textile design at Sophia Polytechnic in her native Bombay, she then went on to learn the art of pattern-cutting and hand-sewing at Central Saint Martins in London.

Her garments are enthused with Japanese prints, Egyptian textiles and embroidery embellishment.  The best thing about her designs is the time spent on each piece, some are constructed overseas but the extra special items are hand-sewn in Lodha's studio.  Dresses from her range are in-keeping with contemporary shapes and styles yet offer that little something extra in the form of luxurious detailing and expensive fabrics.  Try adding a little individuality to your own style, click on a link to begin your design!

Tsumori Chisato's new collection is a must-see for those with a passion for pattern.

With this hot fashionista's whimsical and fearless design sense, Chisato's themed fantasy-space circus ride offered a delightful display to the 09 runway.  Entitled 'Little Prince', white chiffon gowns and cosmic dresses formed the backdrop to Tsumori's prints and embroideries.  Her garments take inspiration from the planets and stars, capes and dresses when folded even form the dreamy shape of a crescent moon.  Taking a fashion direction of her own, this city-scape enthused collection with a hint of the urban edge, creates a fantastical naive style.  Based on Antoine de Saint-Exuperuy's children's tale, billowing gold embellished harem pants, fairy-tale eyes and ruffled collars make any one wearing one of these magical designs feel as if in a fantasy world.

Despite this, the range is still extremely wearable in flowing silks and icy shades.  So forget power-dressing and opt for something a little softer this season.

The lavish launch of the Cavalli card...what credit-crunch?

Most would say at the moment, the obvious partner to the word 'credit' would be 'crunch'.  However Roberto Cavalli much prefers the term 'card' and to illustrate his views, the top designer has launched the Cavalli mastercard in a beautiful transformed Milanese teatro.  Going against the harsh realities of now, Cavalli threw a lavish bash in order to celebrate the launch, guests enjoyed not only a five-course meal but also an abundance of live entertainment.  Roberto certainly knows how to make a girl look gorgeous, both Elizabeth Hurley and Milla Jovovich stole the show in spectacular attire designed by the man himself.

Apparently the Cavalli card will prepare you for everything life could throw...now we just need to get our hands on one!

Beauty taken to the extreme...this season's must-see event draws in a star-studded crowd!

Milan as we all know is a fashionista's paradise and the turn of Palazzo della Ragione certainly proved it's status.  The thirteenth-century pad was turned into the launching venue for the Vogue exhibition of extreme beauty.  A magnificent display drawn from 75 years of the magazine's American edition highlighted some very original ideas in an approach to the female countenance.  With a host of famous faces including Franca Sozzani, Anna Wintour, Stefano Gabbana and Domenicio Dolce, the evening was a guaranteed success with an impressive turnout.

With a star-studded crowd of both supermodels, actresses and actors the event was certainly an excuse for the A-list to show off some extreme style.
