Shoe art...bolder than bold creations take centre stage.

Embellishment, graphic shapes and the highest heels imaginable...this year sees designer's create not just shoes, but works of art.  Creations bombarding the catwalk aren't just heels but feats of engineering.  Materials in patent-leather, plastic and acetate make up architectural shapes and one heel just isn't enough.  It seems this season's designs are the most outrageous yet, models wobbling down the runway revealed off the wall concepts.  Collections on the s/s 09 catwalk take a much greater prominence than before with fetishistic, overpowering, fantastical and more often than not gravity defying designs .

The above are certainly intriguing, wearing them however may prove to be a balancing act.  If you're scared of heights, make sure you stick to the shoe gazing!

Monogram madness...a monumental marriage of art and commerce.

Who would believe Louis Vuitton used to be a traditional luggage brand after Marc Jacobs waved his monogrammed wand on the luxury label,  Of course he had a little help from Takashi Murakami.  The top Japanese artist and the man himself have rejuvenated the world sought after name. We know you are all going to be just a little excited about an exhibition to celebrate their combined efforts.  The show is to take place at Bilbao's Guggenheim from February 17 until May 31.  Collaborations dating back to 2003 will be on display including the first monogram collection in 33 colors, the iconic cherry-print and of course the 'monogramoflage'

This season's creations are to die for and the credit crunch has certainly been forgotten in the world of Louis Vuitton.  With expensive and luxurious fabrics and a glorious take on the current tribal theme, every item is an investment!  The weather has turned and with it so has Marc Jacobs' choice of color palette, rich reds, exquisite purples, vivid oranges and contrasting greens are sure to add a divine twist to any outfit!

Pitch Perfect...Tommy is a punk rocker!

Edgy, downtown and rebellious perfectly describe Hilfiger's new line.  Entitled ''Rock Scene'' the hip collaberation is all down to Marky Ramone.  Featuring stencil type, slim silhouettes and everything rock n roll, the capsule collection sums up the seminal band's iconic status...loud-and-fast favorites like vintage punk tees, studded belts, rock-star-thin fits and of course the ultimate leather jacket reflect the drummer's style completely.  Those looking to channel the '70s and '80s, Rock Scene are in luck, the new line offers an easy to wear funky style and will definitely appeal to our inner rock star status.

The duo's design's are set to debut in Febuary, but if you can't wait till then why not create your own unique take on the 70's punk scene...I find the vintage style tee captures the scruffy-cool look perfectly!

Finally a recession-minded way to round out our closets!

Swap parties are fast becoming the next big thing; a group of budget minded friends meet to trade their unwanted wardrobe clobber, and the outcome, a fresh new wardrobe!  The best bit, you haven’t to worry about the price tag.  This is the perfect excuse to economize and socialize at the same time.  It’s an evening of fine wine, varied themes and of course amazing clothes.  So if you’ve always had your eye on your best friend’s vintage tee or statement shoes, then be sure to barter one item of interest in exchange for another.  You’ll be dressed to the nines in no time!

Why not swap tees at Streetshirts, design your friend a cute top and in return they can come up with a creation for yours truly!  The best bit, becoming your own designer means no one else will have it!

Banana Republic’s latest offerings…the adorable eco-conscious heritage line

With a canapé of ginger crab cakes and scrumptious spring rolls, BR went OTT to welcome guests to this summer’s new collection.  The new range includes the gorgeous eco-conscious heritage line.  With elements of animal print, silky materials and chic cap-sleeves, the stylish flock invited not only enjoyed the exquisite spread, but thought the clothes weren’t bad either.  A favorite being this cap-sleeve sweater dress available in both silky coal and silver stream, just how will you decide between these two gorgeous choices?

Accessories were kept minimal, with neat clutches in neutral shades, contemporary heels and geometric style jewellery.

The celebratory debut of Propr proves to be a fitting affair.

Husband of our favorite friends star, Courtney Cox, opened up his Beverly Hills home in order to present us with an exciting new collaboration.  The collection, entitled Propre is derived from the French word propre, meaning ‘fitting’ and it proved to be just that.  The setting was said to be perfect for a catwalk show complete with cocktails.  David Arquette worked alongside designer David Bedwell and Ben Harper to produce the exciting new range.  The collaborations proved extremely popular with guests such as Cindy Crawford and Heidi Klum.  With a collection of pretty floaty tops, easy to wear dresses and a range of summer wear, there was some thing for everyone.

Both Courtney and Laura Dern were seen sporting one of Arquettes t-shirt creations complete with slogans such as ‘Please’ and ‘Once Upon A Time’.  Why not create your own slogan tee and say what you really mean.  Click on a link to get creative with type.
